Our Philosophy

The philosophy of Middleburg Animal Hospital is reflected perfectly in our motto “gentle words, capable hands, caring hearts.” We are a dedicated group of professionals, working together to provide high-quality, compassionate medicine and surgery for our patients. We treat cats, dogs, small mammals such as hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs and gerbils. We treat injured or ill wildlife (songbirds, raptors, deer, squirrels, etc.) at no fee to the good Samaritans or wildlife rehabilitators who bring them to us. We provide a friendly, stimulating environment for our clients and their pets as well as our staff.

Our hospital follows American Animal Hospital Association standards of excellence. These standards are the industry's benchmark for quality in companion animal practice.

News and Updates

Canine leptospirosis, a dangerous threat to dogs, is a bacterial disease that is carried by common wildlife and rodents. Recent research has shown that the newer strains of leptospirosis are on the rise in areas that are urban now but were in the recent page rural, such as Middleburg and the surrounding areas.

Fortunately, a new vaccine has been introduced and is offered at Middleburg Animal Hospital to protect your dog from this important disease threat.
